Two Karadi Tales books have been shortlisted yet again for the Neev Book Award!

The Mountains of Mumbai was shortlisted in the Picture Book Category – this category, according to Neev’s website, seeks to recognize “Illustrated books for children up to age six for children that display an understanding and respect for a young child’s sensibilities…[that] provide[s] the reader with a complementary visual experience.”

And Letters to Ammi was shortlisted under the Emerging Readers category, which are “Books for audiences between the ages of 7 and 9…that address this audience both in terms of the appropriateness of the content, the level of the language, the length, and the age of the protagonist.”

The winners will be announced at the Neev Literature festival later this year.
